About

Hello, I'm Travis and I started Griefenhagen Construction in 2015.  I had worked in carpentry for most of my teens and early twenties before going back to college.  I have a degree from the U of MN in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering with a focus on marketing and management. After a few years working in that industry I knew I wanted to be my own boss and went to work with my long time friend doing contracting and carpentry.  Within a few years he decided his other business made more sense for him so I started my own contracting company.

I've been focused on doing honest and professional work for an honest and reasonable price ever since. I've stayed small and have minimal overhead which allows me to keep prices lower than bigger companies. I have great subcontractors that are reliable, honest and very good at their respective craft.

In the spring of 2026 I partnered up with a different long time friend and the owner of HonesTy Home Solutions.  Together we are trying to build something bigger while still offering a great product for a reasonable, fair and honest price.
